Public discussion of the results of a special investigation by the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine

On April 21, 2021, a public discussion of the results of a special investigation of the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine took place on the site of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine in an online format. The participants of the meeting discussed the expediency of applying special measures for the import of wires to Ukraine, regardless of the country of origin and export in the form of a special duty at a rate of 23.5%. During the discussion between consumers (and their representatives), manufacturers and experts, most participants agreed that the domestic cable industry needs protection from expansionary imports and support from the state.
