Application
Fire resistant power cables, halogen free compounds insulated and sheathed are intended for power supply to fire protection equipment which is to operate in fire conditions (e.g. water pumps in fire extinguishing systems, smoke removing fans). Halogen free cables shall be applied in locations where, in case of fire, higher safety for human beings and expensive electronic equipment is required.
Functions of the cables are maintained – power is supplied to equipment which must operate in fire conditions and during firefighting. The cables are flame retardant and their smoke emission is low, emitted fumes are non-toxic and non-corrosive. The cables are suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
Construction
1. Conductor: bare copper, solid or stranded (acc. to EN 60228 class 1 or 2);
2. Insulation: mica tape and halogen free cross-linked compound;
3. Inner sheath: halogen free compound;
4. Outer sheath: halogen-free compound (Orange color. Other color upon customer's request).
