Application
Mining armoured power cables are designed for transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary mine networks for rated voltage 1,2 kV or 6 kV at frequency 50 Hz. Cables are suitable for installation in the following areas: horizontal and inclined mine workings, also along wells on the suspension to the rope.
Construction
1. Conductor: copper round stranded (acc. to EN 60228 class 2);
2. Insulation: PVC compound;
3. Screen: semiconductive layer and copper tapes;
4. Earth conductor: bare copper stranded;
5. Inner sheath: PVC compound;
6. Armour: galvanized steel tapes;
7. Outer sheath: PVC compound.
