The BIT & BIS-2020 is over
On February 26, Kyiv met the main event of the domestic ICT market - International Forum “Around the Cloud. Around Data. Around the CC. Around IoT. Around Security. Around the Cable. Around IP. Smart Building” (or BIT & BIS-2020). This unique industry event, featuring an integrated approach, content quality and unique atmosphere, has traditionally brought together the best representatives of the ICT community and the business environment of the region.
The forum and the exhibition gathered many interested participants. There were virtually no random people. Therefore, the dialogues at the stand were very meaningful and productive. Most visitors confirmed the positive experience of using Odeskabel cable products and were interested in the terms of purchasing the cable directly from the factory.
Representatives of government agencies responsible for selecting and installing cables in their projects said that they tested cables from different manufacturers, and PJSC "Odeskabel" was selected as a priority because of its stable quality and reliability. This is the best recommendation from experts who choose the best for years of operation.
The panel also held a panel discussion “Waiting for cable networks and SCS in 2020”. Specialists from PJSC “Odeskabel” participated: Luchak Oleg, Head of Communications Cable Sales and Sergey Sidorenkov, Head of SCS, Premium Line, Legrand, Synergy (R&M), moderator CEO of Atracom Alexander Savchuk.
Extremely interesting communication of experts on many issues, comparison of development and features of the market of Ukraine and other countries, consideration of standards, expectations of 5G technology.
Sidorenkov Sergey, Head of SCS Division said: “The construction of networks of 5G technology itself implies a much higher density of base stations, which also need to be connected. That is, a cable must be connected to the base station. And at the BICSI 2020 American Conference, where world leaders of our industry came together, in the presentations, they unanimously noted that with the introduction of 5G, cable throughput would increase in order. That is, they are now developing cables where a lot of fiber is 1000+ fibers. For Ukraine, this is usually not even tomorrow, we don't have 4G everywhere yet, and mobile operators are discussing frequency redistribution to improve the efficiency of information transmission without affecting the cable. But we, as leaders of the cable industry in Ukraine, are looking to the future and trying to be prepared for the challenges that will come with the advent of 5G”.
A number of valuable prizes were presented at the conclusion of the Forum and the exhibition. Cognac containing 70-year-old alcohol - the age of the plant itself - was donated from PJSC Odeskabel.
