Participation in the 11th annual international CRU Wire & Cable Conference!
On July 17-19, 2017, the 11th annual international CRU Wire & Cable Conference was held in Munich (Germany), bringing together more than 200 specialists of leading companies in the world cable industry from 33 countries.
As in previous years, the main theme of the conference was the current situation and prospects for the development of energy and TV-communications throughout the world, as well as their impact on the cable industry, the problems and opportunities facing it. This year, the main topics during the session were the future progress of renewable energy, the situation in the markets of developing countries, issues of state regulation of the industry, cable solutions of the next generation, prospects for the development of fiber optics, production of submarine communication cables and their use, and much more.
Odessa Cable Works “Odeskabel” was represented at the conference by Oleg Prokopovich, Head of Production and Dispatch Department, and Sergey Alekseevich Bokarev, Head of the Fiber Optic Cable Service.
During the event, the participants were given a unique opportunity to visit the factory of the company “NIEHOFF GROUP” - one of the leading manufacturers of equipment for the production of cable products, as well as a long-term and traditional supplier of equipment to our company (http://www.niehoff-gmbh.info/en /).
